Diary Dates

Monday 27th FebruaryAll pupils return to school. St. David’s Day competition entries to be returned.  Children to wear school uniform.

Tuesday 28th February – Children will be performing their St. David’s Day songs and poems to each other.  Children can wear red T- shirts, rugby shirts or Welsh costumes.

Wednesday 1st March – St. David’s Day – Children will be performing their St. David’s Day songs and poems to parents and carers.   

9:30 – 10:00  Nursery, Class 1 and Class 2. 

10:30 – 11:00  Class 3 and 4. 

During the interval Welsh cakes and Tea / coffee will be on sale to raise funds for the school.  Parents are welcome to stay for the whole morning or to just attend the part your child will be performing in. Children can wear red T- shirts, rugby shirts or Welsh costumes.

(If you are not able to attend on March 1st, there will be a second chance to see your child perform. We had planned a second performance for parents on 2nd March in Salem however this has been postponed because of the strike and a new date is being planned.)

Thursday 2nd MarchSchool closure due to strike action.

Friday 3rd March – World Book Day – Children can dress up as their favourite book character for a fun day learning about lots of new stories and authors.

Holocaust Memorial Event

Well done to all of the children who performed in the Holocaust Memorial Event. Your performance was superb and we are all very proud of you. Thank you to all parents who ensured that the children got there safely and to Mrs. Williams for supporting the children with her excellent choreography skills.
