In July, pupils won £500 for their entry to the Welsh Heritage Foundation entitled Changing Times; Crynant. The project introduced the pupils to Crynant’s heritage through an examination of its long history, its community buildings – church, chapels, farmhouses, shops, pubs and collieries, local legends, placenames etc. The children also contributed to the new stained – glass window in Saron Chapel. Mrs. Davies went to Aberystwyth with two pupils who were elected to receive the award. Da dawn pawb!
