Sports Day

Dear Parent / Carer

A final decision as to whether or not sports day will go ahead  will be made on Thursday lunchtime.

At the moment it is looking likely that it will go ahead as a dry forecast has been given for the day however we also need the ground to be dry.

If we are able to go ahead the plan for the day is as follows.

Nursery:

All nursery pupils will need to attend the morning session. They need to come to school at 8:50 in appropriate clothing wearing their team colour. Please avoid sending in any bags however please remember to provide your child with a water bottle with their name on. We aim to be at the field behind the rugby club by 9:30.

All other classes:

The pupils need to come to school  in appropriate clothing wearing their team colour.  Please  provide your child with a water bottle with their name on. Pupils will be dismissed from the field straight to parents so it may be easier to avoid bringing too many bags to school if possible.  Any pupils that are not collected from the field will be brought back to school with their teacher. Pupils will leave school at 1pm to walk to the field. We are hoping to start sports day at 1:15.

Please ensure that the pupils have everything that they need in the morning as this will help us to safeguard the pupils from too many adults crossing the field to pass things to pupils.

We kindly ask that you respect the request not to take photos or film clips.  All photographs of children who have provided consent will be posted on the school website.

If we are unable to go ahead the second attempt will be on Monday July 1st.

Kind regards,

Mrs. M. Teague

Class 1 and 2 beach trip reminder.

Reminder – pupils will need a packed lunch for the trip to Porthcawl tomorrow. They can either wear wellies or trainers to go rock pooling but will need an extra pair of trainers to wear home as their feet will be getting wet. Please dress warm and wear waterproofs if you have them. Pupils can also bring spare clothes. School uniform is not necessary.

Thank you
