Well done to our three lucky pupils who all achieved 100% attendance in January and won Go Air vouchers.

For the safety of all our pupils and staff a decision has been made with the Chair of Governors for Creunant School to remain closed today.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We look forward to seeing the pupils on their safe return on Monday.

The school will be open on Thursday as normal.

Sleet is forecast for Crynant on Thursday from 1pm with heavier snow forecast to arrive later that evening.

Please can we ask that you monitor the weather closely and only collect your child from 2pm if weather conditions where you are living mean that it is safer for you to collect your child early. If the roads are not disrupted by snow then pupils will be dismissed at the usual time of 3:20.

This is always a difficult situation for us as the timing and the amount of snow can be so unpredictable. We appreciate your support in ensuring that the children get home safely with minimal disruption.

If it is necessary to close the school on Friday, notices will be made via text and the school website early on Friday morning.
