3rd October 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
First and foremost, a heartfelt thank you for your continued support in promoting excellent attendance. We’re thrilled to share that our attendance for September reached an outstanding 97.35%—the second highest in the local authority, just 0.3% shy of the top spot! This is a fantastic achievement, and it’s all thanks to your commitment and encouragement.
It’s also been wonderful to see so many children starting their day at Breakfast Club. Attendance has doubled since last year, and the children are clearly enjoying the variety of fruit, toast, and cereals on offer—not to mention the chance to catch up with friends and play games. We’ve invested in new resources to make the mornings even more engaging and enjoyable. Let’s keep this brilliant momentum going through October!
Estyn Visit
Next week, from Tuesday to Thursday, we’ll be welcoming Estyn to our school. We’re looking forward to sharing the progress we’ve made and working together to continue moving Creunant Primary forward.
After School Clubs
It’s been lovely to see so many children taking part in our after school clubs—and especially heartwarming to welcome parents to our crafting and cookery sessions. To help us manage clubs smoothly, we kindly ask that you check in with your child each morning to confirm their attendance. If a child is in school and on the club list, we’ll expect them to attend unless we’ve been informed otherwise.

Bronze Ambassadors
Congratulations to our two new Bronze Ambassadors who completed their training via Teams this week! They’ll be introducing new games in the yard during lunch and play times, helping to make break times even more fun and inclusive.
