Thank you for the community support.

The staff and pupils at Creunant Primary would like say a huge thank you for the wonderful support that we have received from our community this week.

Some time ago Men’s Sheds worked on our raised beds to make them more suitable for planting in. Over the last few weeks staff worked on weeding and painting the area so that the beds could be used for planting in again. With the support of Brian Girling and Kate Hopkins from Crynant Plant we have been donated enough soil to fill the beds and planters to get gardening again. Thank you both for your kind support.

We were also delighted last week to receive a glass house from Mr. Bill Gunnell. With the support of Mr. Alan Thomas, the glass house has been set up and fixed securely in place.

This has already provided many hours of outdoor fun in between the showers for the children who attended school this week.

Men’s Sheds have provided us with a great deal of support from keeping the greenery in shape to creating safe areas for our bins.  We are continuously very grateful for their ongoing support to our school.

Letters to children.

Hello all,

We are all very excited about having the sound of children back in our school and we can’t wait to welcome you back. The teachers have all been busy preparing the outdoors and the classrooms for you all.  They have written a letter to you all to help you understand a few of the changes for when you return.

We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Mrs. Teague
